Historic England grant for Heritage at Risk will fund urgent conservation and restoration works.
Irving Patrick Consulting is delighted to share that Spilsby Sessions House has been awarded over £1 million from Historic England’s ‘Heritage at Risk’ grants programme. This will play a vital role in conserving and restoring this much-loved Grade II listed building, and boost funding already secured by ELDC’s Lincolnshire Wolds: Culture & Heritage Programme from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.

IPC worked closely with the Trustees, East Lindsey District Council, and Focus Consulting to develop the successful bid. This award recognises both the importance of the building to local heritage and the strength of the project’s vision for its future as a cultural, social, and economic asset for the town.
“We are thrilled to have played a leading role in securing this transformational funding for Spilsby Sessions House,” said Anne Irving, Director of IPC. “This grant not only safeguards an important piece of our heritage, but also supports the creation of a vibrant cultural venue that will serve the community for decades to come. It’s a perfect example of how heritage and regeneration go hand in hand.”
The grant will help deliver urgent conservation works to the building’s fabric, preventing further deterioration and supporting its journey towards a sustainable long-term use.
