Fundraising & Income Generation

Do you need funding for a project, but don’t know where to start? From researching potential funders to writing grant applications, IPC can help. Since 2020 we have secured substantial grants from the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF), Architectural Heritage Fund, National Churches Trust, Garfield Weston and others.

St John the Baptist
High Toynton

One Sunday morning in January 2020, the community of High Toynton awoke to find its church tower had collapsed. The building stood open to the elements with little hope it could ever be saved.

IPC worked with the Parochial Church Council (PCC) to raise the funds required to save this much-loved listed building, securing a £225,000 grant from NLHF towards essential surveys, assessments, repair works and community engagement.

Hull Minster
City of Hull

Since 1285, Hull Minster has stood at the heart of the vibrant maritime port of Hull. This grand Grade I listed building has recently benefitted from a £3.9m grant from Highways England towards conservation work and construction of the ‘Trinity Rooms’. Working alongside the Hull Minster Development Trust and the PCC, IPC made applications to grant funders, raising £222,000 towards both capital and operational costs.

Birmingham & Warwickshire
Archaeological Society

BWAS was founded in 1870 and supports the archaeological heritage of the region through lectures, publications, and events. As part of an NLHF funded assessment of BWAS’ governance and operations, IPC undertook a thorough review of income streams and opportunities, creating a Fundraising Strategy and Plan, delivering a bespoke package of training and support for trustees.
